“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor… Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:9,12
Ministry was never meant to be done alone.
Pastors, church leaders, and congregations across the Northeast are navigating increasing challenges—leadership pressures, financial strain, and the complexity of reaching a rapidly changing culture with the gospel are just a few. In moments like these, partnership matters more than ever.
That is one of the greatest values of being part of Converge Northeast.
We are not simply an organization churches belong to; we are a family of churches on mission together. When one church succeeds, we all celebrate. When one church struggles, we rally around them. Together we strengthen pastors, equip leaders, plant churches, develop healthy ministries, and multiply gospel impact across the Northeast.
In Acts 13, the church at Antioch became a launching point for gospel expansion because leaders worked together in unity, prayer, generosity, and mission. The result was multiplication far beyond what any single church could have accomplished alone. That same spirit continues today when churches collaborate for Kingdom impact.
This is why gatherings like Converge Together next month are so important.
Converge Together is more than an event. It is an opportunity to reconnect with one another, encourage one another, and sharpen one another for the work God has called us to do. In a region where ministry can often feel isolating, this gathering reminds us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.
At Converge Together, pastors and leaders will:
- Build meaningful relationships with others who understand the unique challenges of ministry in the Northeast
- Receive practical encouragement and leadership development
- Hear stories of life change and ministry impact across our region
- Be refreshed spiritually and reminded that they are not alone
- Discover new opportunities for collaboration and mission
There is still room for people to attend. If you want to check it out, you can register here.
Healthy churches do not happen accidentally. They are strengthened through encouragement, shared wisdom, prayer, and partnership.
At Converge Northeast, we believe we are truly better together. The mission before us is too important and the opportunity too great to go it alone. As we continue moving “further up and further in,” my prayer is that every church in our region would experience the strength, support, and shared mission that comes through authentic partnership.
Thank you for being part of this movement of churches committed to seeing the Northeast transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ!
